Mumbai:  The BJP was prepared to fight polls without or with the Shiv Sena, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis  stated. He, however, added the BJP preferred the two parties fought against polls together.

“I don’t read or pay attention to anybody within the party (Sena) because there’s only one individual who takes its decisions. And That I have good relations with Uddhav ji (Sena chief Thackeray). I keep meeting him off and on,” Mr Fadnavis stated.

He was speaking in a programme organised with a news funnel within suburban Bandra.

Mr Fadnavis further stated, “I believe we’ll fight the polls together. However, we will be ready to fight it by doing this or this way.”

The Sena, the earliest constituent from the NDA, has announced it would contest the 2019 Maharashtra set up and Lok Sabha elections by itself.

The party has additionally claimed the “outcomes of the 2019 Lok Sabha Election and condition set up polls is going to be startling”.
