In a series of threaded tweets Friday night, founder and CEO Jack Dorsey said the social media system would announce new rules centered on “unwanted sexual improvements, non-consensual nudity, dislike symbols, violent groups, and tweets that glorifies violence.”
“We
decided to have a more aggressive stance in our principles and just how we enforce them,” Dorsey tweeted.
Dorsey
didn’t provide a timeline for when the new guidelines could be in place, but mentioned they’d drop in “the subsequent handful of weeks.”
